IMPG Joint Annual Scientific Meeting and Medical Conference on Progress in Medical Practice - London, UK, 28 – 31 July 2023
The conference includes free medical education meetings for healthcare professionals from Thurrock area, Essex, UK.
Constant progress and innovations have been occurring in medical practice and education internationally for the past decades. These have been as a result of advances in medical practice worldwide. In addition, patients have become more informed about their health, and these have resulted in increased in demands and expectations, thereby bringing about the changing roles of the doctors and healthcare workers in society. There are now needs for healthcare workers to be more involved in teaching and research, as well as in patient care. Hence the conference on ‘Progress in Medical Practice and Education in the Changing World’ will embrace many topics on the various issues affecting medical practice, research and education. The format of the conference includes key note speaking/lecture, presentations of research or projects carried by delegates from different parts of the World, workshops, and interactive sessions for all delegates to participate in, and learn together in an informal environment. The Joint IMPG and IAHCP Conference Centre venue, Premier Inn Thurrock West is handy for some of the UK's biggest shopping centres not to mention central London. The M25 is only a couple of miles away making it easy to reach tourist attractions and business venues. Guests and families can go into central London and Greater London to some must-see venues like Madame Tussauds or the London Eye, or shop in the West End or at Lakeside Shopping Centre (one mile away) or Bluewater shopping Centre (5 miles away) or Grays Town Centre (about three miles away). Arena Essex Raceway is easily accessed too from the hotel. Hence the hotel - venue offer easy access to London and is close to Brands Hatch Racing Circuit. The hotel offers a restaurant and a comfy bed for a good night's sleep. There is also free car park for delegates for the conference and guests. Delegates can also access the hotel-venue from Stanastead Airport, Southend Airport, which are closer. The other London Airports, including Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton Airports are also accessible through public transport or shuttle/taxi rides.

Accreditation:
The Conference and educational meetings are accredited by various professional bodies. So participants will receive attendance certificates, including Continuous Medial Education (CME) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certificates. The CME and CPD points are between 24 to 100 points depending on number of sessions attended.
