IMPG Fund

The International Medical Publishing Fund (IMPGF) was established by various international medical publishers grant-giving unit in 2004 and became operational in 2005 to promote advance research and innovation projects in publication issues.

The Funds are available for competition from candidates with senior editorial role, who had already made ground breaking contribution in their editorial and publication career and requires funding for further higher projects in order to advance their contribution to publications for the benefit of society.

Eligible candidates must show recognised evidence of having obtained Funding from one of the member organisations and network and/or having obtained funding from governmental or charitable source in the past. The candidate must also show evidence of high quality and lengthy publication list in reportable international journals, books and other publications.

Members of IMPGF

Members of IMPGF are all the individual organisations, which merged in 2004 to form the International Medical Publishing Group (IMPG), including the members of the IMPG that have been operating globally suince 1953.

Sources of Income

IMPGF incomes are generated through the following sources:

• Regular donations from participating sections within IMPG
• Donations from other interested organisations. Please note that details of the donating institutions must be declared, as anonymous donations are not accepted. This is important for correct accounting and auditing purposes
• Educational activities, including organisation of joint international courses and conferences on scientific writing and publication issues
• Various fund raising activities and exhibitions
